Growing up I moved every few years, first from Chengdu, China to Jackson, Mississippi and later the foothills of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Stories were my atlas, helping me map my emotional landscape and make sense of my shifting surroundings.

Over time, while working in journalism and international development, I discovered another side to storytelling — its ability to challenge bias and inspire meaningful change. It’s something I’ve seen across my work supporting nonprofits and social impact organizations as co-founder of
Xerophile Studios and in making and sharing my short documentary, La Orquesta. Stories have the power to shift perception, express nuance and reshape the world into what it could be.

Now, as a director and editor, I feel privileged to be a witness to other people’s lives, their joy and sorrow, and help transform it into narrative. To do so alongside others in such a collaborative medium its own kind of gift.

Please say hi if you'd like to work together! I'd love to connect.
